Neurodivergent Professional Reflective Practice Group

Reflective practice groups provide a valuable and focussed space for professionals to reflect, observe, process and learn in relation to their experiences at work. Reflective practice enables us to recognise feelings and patterns of thought and behaviour that shape our thinking and action. It also allows for the exploration of broader questions and wider concerns.

Neurodivergent reflective practice can help us understand our own intentions, values and visions and support us to work, where our ethics and morals may be tested, where power relations may be decidedly unequal, and where we may be working in emotionally and physically demanding environments.

A group of peers who meet on a regular basis to learn and reflect together can be a powerful support.

Each group will have no more than 8 people and you will decide together how to use and organise its time.

Boundaries will be discussed, and a group agreement formulated.

There are many reflexive practice models and we will draw upon these to form and run our group. We will introduce these to you at the beginning of the process. All our groups are Neurodivergent affirming and build neurodivergent competence in our practice.

About me

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, EMDR Practitioner, Supervisor and am the Clinical Head of a Counselling Centre in the South of England.

I have 23 years’ experience, working with many different people in a wide range of different environments.

I am a neurodivergent affirming practitioner with lived experience of neurodiversity and offer counselling for newly diagnosed, self-identified and currently diagnosed neurodivergent people.

These groups can be formed from a single workplace or made up of individuals.

Once we have a new cohort of at least 6 practitioners we will be in contact and set up a new group.

Each group will participate in 6 week blocks.
If you want to continue the cohort can decide on another 6 week block or you can join another cohort.

Prices

One 2hr RPG session (based on minimum 6 people) £35 per person
