Refunds & Cancellations

A clear explanation of how to stop a membership renewal, what happens to your access, and when a refund may be considered.

Draft for review: This mock-up is designed to sit alongside the Membership Terms & Conditions and should be legally reviewed before publication. The final wording should also match the cancellation options, checkout wording and payment settings actually used in MemberPress and Stripe.

At a glance

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

Cancel future renewal

You can cancel a monthly membership before the next renewal. Your cancellation normally stops the next payment rather than refunding the current paid membership period.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

Stop the next annual renewal

You can cancel an annual membership so that it does not renew for another year. Cancellation does not normally create a pro-rata refund for the unused part of a year already purchased.

Cancelling does not need to be complicated. Where self-service cancellation is available, you can use your account. If you cannot access the account route or need help, contact us and we can assist.

How cancellation works

1

Choose to cancel

Cancel through the available account or billing area, or contact us if manual support is needed.

2

Future renewal stops

Once cancellation is processed, no further recurring membership payment should be taken for the next billing period.
3

Use your remaining access

Unless we tell you otherwise, membership access normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds and payments

Cancelling a recurring membership

Cancelling a recurring membership normally prevents the next renewal. It does not usually reverse a payment for a membership period that has already begun or been made available to you.

Monthly payments

If you cancel a monthly plan, your membership will normally remain active until the end of the current paid month. The next monthly payment should not be taken once the cancellation has been processed in time for renewal.

Annual payments

Annual membership is paid in advance. If you cancel, the intention is that your membership remains available until the end of the current paid annual period and does not renew for another year. A partial refund for unused months is not normally offered solely because you choose to stop using the membership early.

Duplicate payments or payment errors

If you believe you have been charged twice, charged after a cancellation should have taken effect, or affected by another payment error, contact us so that we can check the transaction and correct an error where appropriate.

Technical problems

If a significant technical problem prevents you from accessing the membership, contact us first so we can investigate. Where a problem cannot reasonably be resolved, we will consider the appropriate remedy in the circumstances and in line with your legal rights.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights that apply to you. Rights relating to online services or digital content can depend on the circumstances of the purchase, when access begins and the information or consent provided at checkout. The final published policy and checkout process should be legally reviewed together.

When THINK Neurodivergent UK may end a membership

We may suspend or end membership access where there is serious misuse, unauthorised sharing, abusive behaviour, a security risk, non-payment or a serious or repeated breach of the Membership Terms or Guidelines.
Any decision should be proportionate to the circumstances and communicated clearly. Any refund position would depend on the reason the membership ended and any legal rights that apply.

Before your next renewal

Membership pricing at launch

The current planned options are £10 monthly and £108 annually. The live checkout page should always show the price, billing frequency and renewal terms before purchase.
