Membership Privacy Policy

A calm, plain-English explanation of how membership account, payment, booking and service information would be handled.

Membership-specific draft: THINK Neurodivergent UK already publishes a Privacy and Cookie Policy. This mock-up shows how that policy could be expanded to cover the paid membership. The final published policy should be checked against the exact MemberPress, Stripe, Amelia, Zoom, email, analytics and hosting setup actually used.

Who we are

The Membership Hub is operated by THINK Neurodivergent UK Ltd, a UK registered company (Companies House 11311088). For membership-related privacy questions, contact thinkneurodivergentuk@gmail.com.

Information we may collect

Account information

Name, email address, username or account identifier, password credentials handled by the membership system, membership level and account status.

Payment and billing information

Transaction status, billing plan, renewal/cancellation status, invoices or receipts and limited payment metadata. Full card details are expected to be handled by the payment provider.

Membership activity

Login records, pages or resources accessed where the platform records this, downloads, bookings and support requests.

CPD booking information

Name, email, session selected, attendance or booking status and information needed to send joining instructions or reminders.

Please do not enter identifiable client information into membership forms or CPD reflection tools.

The launch design is intended to let members keep their own professional reflections rather than store detailed reflective records on our website.

Membership Privacy Policy

At Think Neurodivergent, we respect your privacy and process data with complete transparency. This policy outlines how we handle your personal information in a clear, calm, and accessible manner.

Why we use your information

Lawful bases

We process your personal information under several legal grounds, including performing our contract with you (managing your active subscription), complying with legal obligations, and pursuing our legitimate business interests in delivering a high-quality community platform, provided those interests do not override your fundamental rights.

Service providers

To run our online learning and subscription service smoothly, we carefully select third-party service providers. This includes secure billing systems, reliable hosting providers, and communication automation tools. These providers operate strictly under GDPR and data privacy laws, using your data only to perform their specialized tasks.

Marketing communications

We only send promotional emails if you have explicitly opted in to receive them. Our communication is designed to be gentle and constructive. You are always in control of your preferences and can choose to unsubscribe instantly using the link at the bottom of any message or through your membership portal.

International transfers

Your information may occasionally be stored or processed in countries outside your home jurisdiction. If so, we ensure that transfer mechanisms comply with appropriate legal standards, protecting your privacy and security rights globally.

How long we keep information

We only retain personal data as long as it remains strictly necessary for your membership features or legal recordkeeping. Once our billing and regulatory obligations expire, we cleanly and securely purge or anonymise your information from all our direct services.

Your data protection rights

You have complete control over your personal data. This includes the right to request access to your records, request correction of inaccurate data, request full deletion (where allowed), and restrict or object to how we process it. Feel free to contact our support team at any time to exercise these rights.

Security

To safeguard your personal data from accidental loss, disclosure, or unauthorized alteration, we employ robust technical security configurations. Access to sensitive data is heavily restricted to key administrators on a strictly need-to-know basis.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to recognize you and safely maintain your active login sessions. With your permission, we may occasionally gather anonymous analytical parameters to make your membership hub run smoother and more efficiently.

Complaints

If you have any questions or are unsatisfied with our handling of your data, please contact us. You also maintain the right to register an inquiry or file a dispute with your regional data protection authority at any point.
